Job Summary:
We are looking for a experienced Openshift and Linux Engineer and Architect
Job Requirements:
Deploy, configure, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters in production and development environments.
Administer and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, or other distributions), ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to build scalable CI/CD pipelines and container strategies.
Automate system and application deployments using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
Monitor system performance and ensure platform uptime through proactive incident response and problem resolution.
Implement and manage Kubernetes-native tools for observability, security, and scalability.
Perform system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning on Linux and OpenShift systems.
Document system configurations, procedures, and runbooks.
Provide Level 2/3 support for Linux and container platform issues.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience managing Linux systems in an enterprise environment.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes in production.
Strong experience with shell scripting, Bash, and/or Python.
Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD).
Working knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, and load balancers.
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
