Job Summary:

We are looking for a experienced Openshift and Linux Engineer and Architect

Job Requirements:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters in production and development environments.

• Administer and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, or other distributions), ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

• Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to build scalable CI/CD pipelines and container strategies.

• Automate system and application deployments using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.

• Monitor system performance and ensure platform uptime through proactive incident response and problem resolution.

• Implement and manage Kubernetes-native tools for observability, security, and scalability.

• Perform system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning on Linux and OpenShift systems.

• Document system configurations, procedures, and runbooks.

• Provide Level 2/3 support for Linux and container platform issues.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of experience managing Linux systems in an enterprise environment.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes in production.

• Strong experience with shell scripting, Bash, and/or Python.

• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools.

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD).

• Working knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, and load balancers.

• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
