Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Finance Operations PMO to support project governance, reporting, and execution across key finance initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Project Governance & Management
Support end-to-end lifecycle of finance projects: planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Maintain project documentation, status reports, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and action trackers.
Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and tools across finance operations initiatives.
Track key milestones and deliverables across multiple finance projects (e.g., process automation, reporting transformation, systems upgrades).
Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with finance, accounting, IT, and other departments to ensure timely execution of project tasks.
Organize and lead project meetings, including agenda preparation, minutes, and follow-ups.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Reporting & Analysis
Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and project metrics to provide visibility into progress and performance.
Support budget tracking, resource planning, and financial forecasting for ongoing and planned projects.
Provide data-driven insights to improve decision-making and drive operational excellence.
Process Improvement & Documentation
Identify process gaps and propose enhancements to improve project delivery and efficiency.
Assist in standardizing PMO templates, procedures, and best practices.
Contribute to post-project reviews and lessons learned documentation.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
10+ years of experience in a PMO, project coordination, or finance operations role.
Strong understanding of finance processes (e.g., P2P, O2C, R2R) and financial reporting.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, Monday.com).
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a deadline-driven environment.
Qualifications:
PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM certification.
Experience in a shared services or global finance operations environment.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday Finance).
Experience working with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
