Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Finance Operations PMO to support project governance, reporting, and execution across key finance initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

Project Governance & Management

  • Support end-to-end lifecycle of finance projects: planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

  • Maintain project documentation, status reports, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and action trackers.

  • Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and tools across finance operations initiatives.

  • Track key milestones and deliverables across multiple finance projects (e.g., process automation, reporting transformation, systems upgrades).

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with finance, accounting, IT, and other departments to ensure timely execution of project tasks.

  • Organize and lead project meetings, including agenda preparation, minutes, and follow-ups.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and project metrics to provide visibility into progress and performance.

  • Support budget tracking, resource planning, and financial forecasting for ongoing and planned projects.

  • Provide data-driven insights to improve decision-making and drive operational excellence.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Identify process gaps and propose enhancements to improve project delivery and efficiency.

  • Assist in standardizing PMO templates, procedures, and best practices.

  • Contribute to post-project reviews and lessons learned documentation.

 

Required Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in a PMO, project coordination, or finance operations role.

  • Strong understanding of finance processes (e.g., P2P, O2C, R2R) and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, Monday.com).

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a deadline-driven environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM certification.

  • Experience in a shared services or global finance operations environment.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday Finance).

  • Experience working with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
